What is the sound of exile? What noises, what music does loss make when the roar of bombs mingles with fear, wandering on uncertain seas, weeping and also, far off, the stammering of a hope still hesitating in the indistinct voices?

Beyond the pain and the new catastrophe, something of this experience can perhaps be heard in the manifold babble of human languages.

Here it murmurs, it tries to articulate itself. Here and there it cries out, it breaks but throbs again. No clear horizon in this chaos, but voices that move, persist and stubbornly breathe, breathe. In the counterpoint of divided voices, encounters arise, sudden glimmers, precarious and timeless harmonies when distant languages, different exiles, suddenly meet on the same sound and catch their breath by mingling their humanity.

Pollens: Music of exiles? Because pollen travels through the air, far from any soil, and carries life. Like the children of exile.
