The participatory opera project with Amwaj was recognized by the French Coalition for Cultural Diversity
On January 12, 2026, in the SACD's reception rooms, the French Coalition for Cultural Diversity awarded its Association Prize, worth €5,000, to the Soutien Amwaj association. The prize supports a participatory opera project written by Karim Kattan and composed by Yves Balmer. Scheduled for 2027, this production will give a voice to young Palestinian choristers.
